Inspired by our collaboration with the lovely @branchingoutadv, Wellness is hosting a series of our own nature outings with sit spots from June to September! Our second event in the series will take place on Sunday, July 20, 4-6PM, in the San José area. Exact location will be shared upon registration at the following link: tinyurl.com/LWSitSpots25. We are doing our best to ensure that we choose trails that are highly accessible! Here are some other details:

🌞 What exactly is a sit spot, you ask? During these events, we will be moving through local parks & trails while intermittently engaging in 5-10 minute “sit spots.” The practice of sit spots allows us to take a breather and engage in mindfulness as we attune our minds and bodies to the sights, sounds, smells, and feelings that our surroundings provide us!

⭐ This series is for adults 18+ and free for all who attend. Light snacks & beverages will be provided. Please let us know if you have any allergies, dietary restrictions, and/or any accessibility needs using the registration form.

🤩 Feel free to bring a journal, stim toys, and anything else that would enhance your experience!

SJ Clothing Swap is mutual aid for our community through clothing and fabric, with an emphasis on sustainability, queer expression, intersectional community care, accessibility, and community organizing. We’re focused on:

• Quality clothes for all

• Being a safe space for exploring your style and gender expression

• Building local community and making new friends

• Combating fast fashion, clothing overproduction & overconsumption, and textile waste (keeping clothes out of landfills)

We want to help you clear your closet of clothes, shoes and accessories that you don’t wear, and take home amazing new styles for free!

SJ Clothing Swap takes place on the 2nd Sunday of the month unless otherwise noted.

We are providing 10 free tickets for the event for our QT Social participants! Our recurring QT Social North County sessions take place in San Jose on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from 6-7:30PM, and our QT Social South County sessions take place on the 1st Wednesday of every even month from 6:30-8:30PM.
